Production in Europe
With production sites on the Baltic Sea coast of Germany, the Atlantic coast of Ireland and the North Sea coast of Great Britain, Liebherr has a superb infrastructure for the worldwide distribution of their maritime machines. At the Rostock site in Germany Liebherr designs and manufactures mobile harbour, ship and offshore cranes. Gantry cranes or container bridges are manufactured at the site in Killarney (Ireland).
Regardless of the site at which the new training course starts or the career aspirations of the new recruits, the first step is to get to know the Liebherr Group and one another. The induction week therefore began, as usual, with the trainees being welcomed by their trainers and the management board of the respective Liebherr companies.
Everything is connected
At the Sunderland site in Great Britain reachstackers and special cranes are manufactured for the maritime industry. Liebherr also has several of its own sales and service subsidiaries for maritime cranes in more than 80 countries. The aim of the application specialist on site is to improve machine handling and to optimize the working processes.
